Kamui.EXE rezzes up a bottle of energy.
"Will this do? As for waking her up, I have a few ideas." kamui.EXE says with a grin.

I walked over and looked out her fair-size window. "maybe I shouldn't have come. Ming can be reasonable when she doesn't know you. I really shouldn't have thought she would forgive me. oh, well." I spoke to Kamui. "So... what ideas?"

"Traditional Japanese program wake up." kamui.EXE says as she strikes a stance.
She was close to Ming's ears. kamui.EXE rezzes up her Data_Bokudo. She knew the amount of force it would take to wake up Ming. kamui.EXE was ready.
"KYAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Kamui.EXE screams as she smacked Ming's shell with the bokudo.
Ming was slowly comming to.
"SUPER KABUKI WAKE UP CALL!" kamui.EXE yells as she strikes with the bokudo again supprising Ming.
"Okay, ladyfriend! I'm awake!" Ming snaps.
"Good." kamui.EXE says with a bright smile as she rezzes away the bokudo.
"What is it?" Ming asks.
"We need your help. Can you help us? Or am I going to Kabuki-wake-up-call you again?" kamui.EXE says as she puts her hands on her hips.
"Fine. Ladyfriend makes good point. You get my 'elp if you win the Dragon's Flame Ring Game tournament comming up within a week. If all three of you win, I'll help." Ming says.
"We agree to your terms!" Kamui.EXE says.
"Glad ladyfriend 'as some sense." says Ming.
Kamui.EXE was glad that they came to an understanding but there was one problem: she didn't know how to play the ring game.

Tweaker's brow furrowed for a moment. Why do I recognize this situation? Oh yes... I've played through it in three different video games... Maybe life really does imitate fiction... Then, seeing Harpo's frown, he smiled and punched him on the shoulder. "Nah. Without your help, we wouldn't have gotten through the door. I don't relish the idea of breaking a window and throwing Ming through, then climbing after her, eh Kamui?
"But seriously, does anyone know how to play this, um, Ring Dragon Flame Game thing?"

"Like regular Ring game only you're allowed to attack the other palyers via martial arts. No subroutines allowed." says Ming.

"What about discs? Can we use Disc Primitives?"

"And how does one get to another to execute martial arts if you're sperated by a endless pit too far to jump across?"

"Pit smaller. Allows for jumping and direct attacks and disk subroutines not allowed. What part of "no subroutine" do you not understand?" says Ming.
"So this is technically like a martial arts tournament with a ring game thrown in. Is that is, Ming?" Kamui.EXE asks.
"Yes." says Ming.

"Discs aren't subroutines, ENIAC, they're primitives. Subroutines get installed onto primitives. So, what's the tournament structure? Can we all three compete at once, or are all the matches one-on-one? Where is this competition? We should get an official rules file."

"One on one for the first few rounds. Tag team for the last 'alf. A 'elp file is on that shelf near my desk. If you three win. I tell what I know on Tron. As for disk, disks are no, Baka-chan." says Ming.
"Gah! Can't you be nicer to him! "Baka-chan?"" Kamui.EXe says as she grabs the help file.
"'E called me ENIAC. Ladyfriend might "enjoy" torunament." says Ming
"Damn right I will." Kamui.EXE says.
"You must leave now to train for matches. Dragon Training arena not too far from 'ere," says Ming.

Sigh... why can't our missions ever be uneventful? they always have to have something blow up... or someone go nuts as the server is about to reformat... or we meet a program who looks just like me... or we meet the MCPP... looks like we can add 'Ring Game challenge with ex-lover' to the list. "Come on, guys. it might be a good idea to get some practice before the tourney." I started walking towards the door, then stopped and spoke to Ming. "I swear, Ming. if this is another one of your traps, like before..." Ming spoke: "You are the sneaking one 'ere, 'arpo. no more traps from me." my gaze tightened. "Some how I doubt that..." I whispered under my breath. then I walked on, waiting outside. Ming motioned toward the door. "Enjoy the game, Ladyfriend and Baka-chan."

Baka-chan, eh? I like that. "C'mon, guys. The tourney is tomorrow-- let's get some practice and then hit the sack." Tweaker stretched, his circuits making an odd electronic creaking sound as they stretched. "We need a place to practice-- we could to go the tournament center, but I bet that'll be pretty crowded. Tron-Sector has a nice set of practice rings," Tweaker said as he headed for the door.

"I'm going to check out the arena first. It may be wiser because it may already be set up for Dragon Ring games." Kamui.EXE says as she leaves Ming's apartment.
Kamui.EXE opened up the help file to have a look. She scanned through it. She saw something intersting.
"By the looks of things, we first enter the tournament as a team. Each one of first goes through an individual match before the tag team starts up. If any one of us loses the individuals, the whole team loses and is disqualified. Gah! Tough game!" Kamui.EXE says.

"A interesting challenge. but I don't have a problem with that. I say we head over to the training center for this... already set up and all." I said as we walked along. "Say, Kamui? what does 'Baka-chan' mean, anyway?"

Smiling, Tweaker interrupted. "Baka is a generic Japanese expletive-- it means 'silly' or 'stupid', I think. The 'chan' extension is affectionate, usually used for children. I think it's a cute nickname." He pulled up a map and turned slightly. "The ring tournament is this way."
