I've got a pic of my charachter somewhere around here... *fumbles through papers* hmmph. Say, Kamui, do you hand draw or use a program? just wondering (and yes, I will upload once I find it)

I hand draw them first, then I scan them in and use Photoshop. Sometimes, though, I will use water colours. ^^v

I really like the glowyness of the circuitry. It looks a lot like the technique I use (Affectionately dubbed: "The Lightsaber Technique") when I do my circuitry. The plating through out the shell is good too.
However, here comes the constructive critisism. Don't take this the wrong way but the head doesn't seem to have the right proportions. One technique if you're drawing by hand is that as soon as you're done drawing on on side of the page, flip it over and hold it up to a light source (Better still, tape it to a window with enough light). You'll see what needs to be corrected proportion wise. Sketch out on the back your corrections and poof! Problems solved! Anyways, I'm going to scan you in a guide to help you out.

img78.photobucket.com/albums/v256/Kamui.EXE/898.jpgThis is a short little tutorial on heads. I took a few artistic liabilities when it came to Harpo's head (Which is the example I used in this tutorial) as well as had a little fun at Prankster's and Harpo's expense (I hope you two don't mind) I left the skeletons intact to show you what it looks like underneith and how I fleshed out the head. I also left a few of my tries in to get Hapro's head and face to look right. I wanted to show my creative processes at work. I hope this helps! ^_~ (Maybe I'll do a group pic as soon as I see what everyone looks like......) ~Kamui.EXE

Thanks, Kamui. I have to agree, the head doesn't look quite right to me either... I'll expeiment and show you what I come up with.
oh, and I like the little drawing of Prankster Bit and me... had me laughing hard on that one!
oh, and the glow is a based on TF's techniuqe (sp?)
Personally, love the armor. that's staying.

Well.... it was really tempting seeing as what Prankster is named after and your thing for blowing up stuff.... I think I got your true essance with the tutorial. It was difficult to get the face shape to right and to fit with your character. When I read your bio, it seemed to paint you as a theif type character and well.... theif types are a lot of fun to draw. They always have some fun little quirkyness about them. ^^ Therefore, I had quite a fair bit of fun with it. I think I'll do a coloured version while I'm at it. (I guess now you can see I'm a "draw-a-holic.") Anyways, if you're still stuck, try the tutorials here: www.mangatutorials.comwww.Bakaneko.comwww.Polykarbon.com (Home to the "Lightsaber Technique.") ~Kamui.EXE

Getting there. ^^V
I believe it's best if you think of the face like an upsidedown tear drop. The chin comes down to a point rather than just rounding off so dramatically. The tip is pointed but yet at a soft point. But for some faces like Sark's (See my post in Fanart/fanfic for details) actually don't truely come down to the same point. It actually kinda squares off for a military type feel. It all depends on what you're going for.

Well, my stupid scanner decided to break beyond repair, so I had to use SAY Si's... but here's some more of Harpo's face. (the one with the arrow will probably be my main design) (undigitized)
