Babushka led the programs down a hallway and across an energy bridge. Kamui.EXE was hopping this wasn't some elaborate trap set up by OEm. Suddenly everyone stopped.
There was some noise at the end of the second hallway.
(OOC: This is a continuation from the gardens.)

//Excellent! The second thread is up! ;D
"Grandmother, why are we stopped here?" Tweaker asked, speaking in Unicode for the benefit of his fellow programs.

Suspecting something, I opened my profiler and started scanning.

Babushka started speaking in Russian at the inrtusion. Kamui and the other programs quickly learned that the intrusion was nothing more than a few young ICPs training with each other.
Kamui.EXE took a big sigh.

{TXT, TXT, TXT! Can't an old program stop to reinitialize her power cycles without you subprograms all pulling your weapons? My, you're a suspicious lot. But Kernel knows a program's got to be careful these days.} The elderly program sighed as if reminiscing days gone by, then opened a door and showed them into the office of OEm's Head of Operations.
He was a cylinder. A huge, red, rotating cylinder, with a narrowed point at his base.
Why does this look so familiar...

A cold chill shot through Kamui.EXE's shell. It felt to her as though she stepped in to the past. She spoke to the cone.
"You must be the program for OEm's head office. Quite the place you have here." Kamui.EXE says.
She scans her profiler.
Master Control PANAL Program version 4.5... hm....
This bothered kamui.

Tweaker grabbed Finder, who was trying to sneak out of the office, then cleared his vocoder and spoke in a loud, clear voice to the MCPP. "Greetings, program! We met some of your followers on our server. Seeing as we're neighbors, we thought we'd say hello. So! How's life treating you?"

"Followers? By which ones do you speak of?" The MCPP asks.
"You know damn well who they are! they destroyed the game grid at Techwood which I now have to fix and was going to derezz some of the programs that lived there! What do you have to say to that?" Kamui.EXE snapped.
"Is that so? I have been hearing rumors that such things have been happening but I never believed any of them to be true! I am so terribly sorry." says the MCPP apolegetically.
"So you did know!" Kamui.EXe growls.
"I'll reemburse you for the damages they've caused. I'm really sorry." he says.

By now I was a few levels down, inside the base, walking down hallways that were supposedly part of a loading bay. I continued to walk, glancing occasionally at my Profiler to see where the odd energy signature was coming from. then I reached a high security door. strange, a high-security door in a simple loading bay? I opened my permissions breaker and used it on the door. naturally, the breaker kept any alarms from being sounded- for all they knew the door wasn't even open. Or so I hope... I walked in, down a hallway that was all white. it appeared that this small secure section was some kind of 'clean folder'. there were a few hallways that branched off of the main one, but I stayed on it until I reached the end. at the end of the hallway, I found a door marked: 'master control memory'. odd name. but it looks like this is the source of the energy signature... hmm. high-security locked. I pulled outmy permissions breaker. nothing I can't handle. I smiled to myself, when I heard a noise behind me, then felt something solid collide with the back of my head, and it all went black.

"That would be great. What was it they were working on, anyway, if you don't mind me asking?"
Suddenly Tweaker noticed that Harpo hadn't followed them into the room. Where'd he go? Wonder how he got away from that persnickety receptionist program...

"I've heard rumors of an uprising but have never seen any evidence or witnesses. So I discounted them as false until now." says the MCPP.
"You're quite naive aren't you?" kamui.EXE says.
It was about this moment when she was jabbed in the side by either Tweaker or Finder.
"Oh! No need to do that! Yes, I'm afraid I AM a bit naive about the situation. It becomes apparent to me that the members of the usprising has been doing a good job of covering their tracks or at the very least keep me in total darkness as to what they are up to." says the MCPP.

the entire server felt like it was spinning. I started to open my visual receptors, and saw a program standing over me speaking into an I/O node. everything was blurry, but in the node I could make out something large and red... then the program whipped around, then gave me a solid whack with something solid, then everything went black again.

Never trust an orange cone. "That seems hard to believe. How could such a large number of your followers carry out what amounts to acts of terrorism without your knowledge? What kind of Master Controller are you, anyway? No offense, of course."
