let's see if i can compress my story into a paragraph:
i was first written as an anti-virus program for the ICP software [yes that's right, the ICPs are part of a software, hence the Kernel] anyway, one time me and a team of 9 others were evacuating an infected hub when I came across a small sub-program [child, for users] this sub-program was very scared because the virus had taken her family [or whatever programs have]. despite the fact that she could be infected, i decided to take her under my wing, so to speak. for doing this, i was expelled from the ICPs and the sub-program was taken from me. later i heard a news bulletin on the internet hub that the kernel had derezzed a sub-program. they showed an image file and it was the sub-program i hat tried to take care of. For this, i decided to show the kernel what it's like to lose something dear to him. my first target as a professional sniper was the Kernel's own sub-program. now almost anywhere I go, I am being hunted, but at least I know i got my vengence.
well, that was a very long paragraph [phew] but that's my story.

Post by Harpo989 on Jun 27, 2004 16:14:01 GMT -5
I planned on writing a fanfic about me, but I guess I can summerize me:
Harpo989 was written sometime around late '00, written by fCon as a simple precursor for the Datawraiths, Harpo was supposed to act as backup, being able to gain virtually any information and subroutines. he also proved to be quite proficient in fCon's new weapons technology. Harpo was constantly active during this time, and has some connection with Kamui, but doesn't remember ecxactly how. he also worked with Finder at one point. but Harpo grew to be more asvanced then fCon had planned, becoming less of a pure and grew a personality, unbeknownst to fCon. but plans ca changes over two and a half years. when the Datawraiths arrived, they found Harpo to be far less useful to them then planned, so he was set to be removed from service. however, Harpo was running a mission to obtain data when fCon's mobile server went down along with most partitions. Harpo immidiatly lost contact with his user, and with his route home gone, he was stranded. Harpo considered going back to fCon, but he reconsidered and struck out, stealing data and information as he went. wanted in many systems for stealing important data and subroutines, he had many encounters with ICPs, one giving him the large gash on his face. after a emergency port-out, he arrived at Tron-Sector, half dazed. Harpo has remained there scince. during one competition, he was supposedly 'derezzed' by a gigantic shockwave, only to return with new armor, subroutines, a sword, and no desire to return to fCon anymore. when he met Kamui, Harpo seemed to trigger a faint memory of his connection. he can't wuite remember what happened, but he knows somthing important did. as for his love of demolitions, he's not really sure where he got that, but it only surfaced after his supposed 'deresolution'...

Inlace Echo here: Ahhh, Echo's bio is short, but sweet. Here I go: Inlace, as you can see by my avitar, is a virus. But she is a rogue virus, meaning she works for no one but her self. She lives for mischief ( and for those who get the joke: "Rated comic mischief!"). Ahem- anywho, her partner in crime is another rogue virus named: Duo Domino. Duo is a Jamacan like character who is laidback and takes things as they come (unlike Inlace). Actully, I based Duo on a person I use to know, but annnnnywaaaayyyys.... Together the are a unlawful, havoc making team, that do things for the fun of it. Beewwaaree they could be in your computer right noooowww... (hmm, cheesy, I know). Alrighty, Baiz for now! .::Inlace Echo::.

Anyways.... I've decided that I'm going to break my bio up in to sections since it's so long.
Here's the first installment up and ready to go:

/////The Forgotten Legend Kamui.EXE/////
.......
Narrator: I don’t remember very well who or what I was prior to this moment in time. Something very important I think. What I do remember however was
the day I was found. It was early 2003 when I had washed up on the shores of an energy lake somewhere on the Encom server.
*Kamui.EXE slowly regains consciousness. Just enough to see where she is. In front of her, she sees something that looks like an egg. Kamui is starved for
energy. She is also badly injured.*
Kamui.EXE: Is that..... edible....?
*Kamui grabs for the “egg” and pulls it near her. But she blacks out again. Out in the distance, a male and female program are walking side by side. They
are chatting with each other when they see Kamui*
Macro.EXE (Male): *Looks off in the distance and see Kamui* Excel.EXE, what is that?
Excel.EXE (Female): I’m not sure. Hold on. *Uses Triangulate* It looks like a program.
Macro.EXE: Let me see. *Uses Triangulate* She looks like she’s in bad shape!
Excel.EXE: Dear sweet user! *Runs over to Kamui* Oh dear user.....
*Macro comes up behind Excel*
Macro.EXE: We can’t leave her here!
Excel.EXE: *Picks up Kamui over her shoulder. The “egg” drops on to the beach. Macro picks it up* We won’t.
//Later.....
*Kamui is taken to Macro and Excel’s “home.” Kamui begins to regain consciousness. She is lying down on a bed*
Kamui.EXE: *slowly* wh.....where am I?
Excel.EXE: You’re safe. *Gets a patch routine*
Kamui.EXE: *Sees the “egg” in her hands* What’s this?
Macro.EXE: You came with it. We’re not sure what it is either.
Kamui.EXE: ...... *Thinks* My function! What is it?
Macro.EXE: I’m not sure. You don’t remember what it is?
Kamui.EXE: No. But I do remember my name is Kamui.EXE.
Macro.EXE: It’s a start. Do you remember your build date?
Kamui.EXE: ...... No..... nothing comes to my processes.
Macro.EXE: Hm! That is strange!
*Excel enters with the Patch routine and gives it to Kamui. Kamui sits up*
Excel.EXE: what’s strange?
Macro.EXE: This program doesn’t remember her past very well.
Excel.EXE: Could she be infected?
Kamui.EXE: *Uses Patch routine* I’m not infected. If I were, I wouldn’t be so easily healed up by this patch routine. Thank you very much for helping me.
Excel.EXE: That was our only one.
*Kamui is quiet*
Macro.EXE: Don’t worry about us. We’ve been saving that for emergencies and your case qualifies.
Kamui.EXE: I.... I...... Thank you.
Excel.EXE: Maybe you should stay here for a while.
Kamui.EXE: Are you sure?
Macro.EXE: Sure. Perhaps by staying here, you'll regain your memories.
Kamui.EXE: Hm... that is a posibility.
Narrator: And so I stayed with Excel.EXE and Macro.EXE for a few days. I decided to repay them for what they have done for me to do some work for them.
It wasn't long before the "egg" I had found, hatched.
*Kamui and Macro are moving some large packets. Excel dashes out*
Excel.EXE: Kamui! Macro! Come quickly!
*Kamui and Macro dash in with Excel*
Kamui.EXE: Excel! What is it?
Excel.EXE: Remember your egg? Look! *Points to the egg on one of the boxes. The shell begins to derezz*
Kamui.EXE: It's hatching!
*The shell derezzes to expose a cute whispy creature.*
All: Aw......
Kamui.EXE: What is it?
Macro.EXE: I've heard of these. This is Bit/Byte/Program hybrid. It can store subroutines for the owner. But in order for it to start communication, it needs
a name.
Kamui.EXE: Hm..... *Thinks* How about..... IPeX?
Excel.EXE: IPeX?
Kamui.EXE: Named after the Packet Exchange protocols. The only thing is that it has an 'e' in it.
IPeX: *As if it was sounding it out* IIIIPPPPPPeeeeeeXXXXXX....... IPeX!
Macro.EXE: It can only communicate by using its' name. If you want to make a translation, run your profiler over it.
IPeX: I, IPeX Isss! *Is really happy*
Kamui.EXE: *Uses Profiler* It's really happy with its' name.
Narrator: So we celebrated the creation of IPeX, my new friend long in to the evening. But our happyness was short lived. This place where I resided for a
few days was going to be raided.
*Everyone's in sleep mode. A bunch of ICPs gather around the home. The digitized glass in the windows break because of the ICPs throwing in their disks.
Everyone wakes up*
Excel.EXE: Not again!
KernalSupport.api: You ahev not payed up! For this by the order of the Kernal, you'll be derezzed!
Macro.EXE: Derezzed?!
Kamui.EXE: *rezzes up her Data_Katana beta* I'll hold them off! You two run!
Macro.EXE: You're.... you're....
Kamui.EXE: JUST GO! *Runs out the door with IPeX and begins to fight the IPCs* IF YOU WANT THEM, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO FIGHT ME FIRST!
*Charges up and slashes away at the IPCs with legendary skill and persision. She derezzes a bunch at a time. IPeX has even joined the fray*
Kernalsupport.api: FALL BACK!
*The ICPs back off as the try to derezz Kamui.EXE with their disks. but they are unsuccessful*
Kamui.EXE: YOU'LL PAY DEARLY FOR HARMING INNOCENT PROGRAMS! *Enraged, kamui.EXE makes her attacks more and more fierce*
Kernalsupport.api: *Mutters* I've never seen such skill. Is this....
*A bunch more ICPs get derezzed*
Kernalsupport.api: Is this "The Forgotten Legend Kamui.EXE?"
*Most of the ICPs are derezzed*
Kamui.EXE: KERNALSUPPORT.API! YOU HAD BETTER SURRENDER YOUR TROOPS NOW!
Kernalsupport.api: NEVER!
Kamui.EXE: SO BE IT! KIAHHHHHHHHHH! *Charges up and attack Kernalsupport.api. Kernalsupport tries hard to defend against her Data_Katana attacks,
eventually a few attack make contact. Her blows are strong enough to knock him back*
Kernalsupport.api: Gah! *gets knocked back* You're good, program! There's definately something different about you!
Kamui.EXE: TELL ME!
Kernalsupport.api: *Throws a set of sequencer disks above Kamui's header. Kernalsupport gets down on his knees*
Kamui.EXE: You weakling! You're a terrible fighter! You expect me to feel any more sympathetic to you on your knees? *Glares*
Kernalsupport.api: I didn't thinks so.
*kamui.EXE looks around to see a series of disks come back at her. Before she can react all disks make contact with her header. Kamui.EXE is knocked
out*
Kernalsupport.api: It's immpossibe that you are "The Forgotten Legend Kamui." She was derezzed cycles ago.

////The Forgotten Legend of Kamui.EXE: Second Installment////
Narrator: I wasn't sure how long I was out for. What was apparent to me when I was finally comming around to was that my subroutines were missing and both IPeX and I were captured.....
Kernal: So this is the program you captured in your raid?
Kernalsupport.api: Yes, sir.
Kernal: She looks like no more than your common anti-virus and she seems like a very incompetant one at that.
*kamui.EXE regains consiousness*
Kamui.EXE: Where.....? Ow.... my header..... *Rubs the back of her header*
Kernal: *To Kamui.EXE* So you're the annoyance!
Kamui.EXE: Annoying? *Sees IPeX in one tiny little cell next to her. The subroutines taken away from her are beside IPeX's cell. Kamui.EXE is also in a cell, the one farthest from her subroutines* You're even worse! Ordering your programs around derezzing innocent ones! Stuff like that makes me sick!
Kernal: How innocent do you think are the programs you helped escape?
Kamui.EXE: Very. They don't have much, but they helped me back to health.
Kernal: You expect me to sympathise? They've been dodging their Syn-taxes for a few months.
Kamui.EXE: I expect you to be a bit nicer!
Kernalsupport.api: *Whispers to the Kernal* I've never seen another program bristling with that many subroutines ever.
*The Kernal and Kernalsupport.api begin whispering to each other. IPeX uses his phasing ability to get out of his cell, collects Kamui.EXE's subroutines and phases in to her cell. Kamui.EXE is caught off guard by IPeX's phasing ability*
Kamui.EXE: *Makes sure she keeps her voice down* IPeX! I didn't know you can do that!
IPeX: IPeX! *Gives Kamui.EXE her subroutines*
Kernal: She is NOT The Forgotten Legend. The REAL Forgotten Legend has been derezzed a long time ago!
*Kamui.EXE slashes open her cell. Both the Kernal and Kernalsupport.api whip their headers around to see Kamui.EXE escape.*
Kernalsupport.api: GET HER!
*A bunch of ICPs gather trying to throw their disks at Kamui. They are also carrying riot shields to protect themselves. But they provide useless against Kamui's fury of attacks with her newly rezzed Data_katana. The shields are sliced in half. She derezzes all the ICPs and charges after the Kernal*
Kamui.EXE: IN YOUR INTERFACE, KERNAL! *Makes a back slash and hits Kernalsupport.api on the way over to the Kernal. Kernalsupport.api gets knocked back.*
Kernal: ......!
*kamui.EXE makes a few calculated slashes. One of the slashes makes contact with the Kernal*
Kernal: Gah!
Kamui.EXE: I'LL MAKE YOU PAY!
Kernal: *Manages to use his disk to knock Kamui back. Kamui.EXE lets her guard down for a moment. He grabs Kamui by her throat and lifts her off her feet. Kamui's Data_Katana rezzes away* Interesting.....
Kamui.EXE: *Choke* ....?! *Choke. Grabs on to the Kernal's hands in order to ease them away*
Kernal: You ARE particularly good, program.
Kamui.EXE: *Choke* W.... will you.... *choke*.... leave them alone..... if...... *Choke* ..... if ....... *Choke* ....if...... I.... join your ranks.....*CHOKE!* P-please......?
Kernal: You make a very interesting proposition. *Drops Kamui.EXE. She's left gasping for air* Very well! You can EARN your way to the ranks of the ICPs. But first you must prove yourself.
Kamui.EXE: *Coughing and gasping* Okay! *Coughs* I'll do it. Just leave Macro and Excel alone.
Kernal: Done.
*The Kernal's subprogram, Trian.exe enters*
Kernal: Trian!
Trian.exe: Yes, sir?
Kernal: Show this program to her quarters.
*kamui.EXE gets up*
Trian.exe: Yes, sir. *To Kamui* This way. *Leads Kamui.EXE out of the room*
*Kernalsupport.api gets back up.. He gasps and presses his hands at his wounds*
Kernal: Perhaps she IS the Legend.
/// In one of the halls.....
Trian.exe: *Dictates rules to Kamui.EXE* I hope you're listening because I'm only saying this once. For starters, The Kernal is always right in whatever he says or does. The next thing is that you SHOULD NOT question his orders or I get to shock you with my rods.
Kamui.EXE: Why shouldn't we? We should be able to question orders that we believe are wro---- *gets shocked by Trian's rods* GWAH!
Trian.exe: *stops shocking Kamui.EXE* That's the next rule, DON'T question MY orders. The next rule is that you are worthless in my eyes. You are nothing. You are the lowest rank there is. If someone derezzes you, you'll never be missed. *activates a bit and opens a door* You'll have a room mate who will be with you throughout your time as you TRY to make your way though the ranks. Although, I doubt you can.
*Kamui.EXE walks in to the room. IPeX follows. The door slams shut behind her. IPeX makes a sound like he's blowing rassberries at Trian*
Kamui.EXE: Hello? Is there anyone here?
*No reply*
Kamui.EXE: Hello? Hm! *Turns to IPeX* I'm begining to this this Trian subprogram was lying to us. Oh well! A room to ourselves. Better make the best of it. *Sits down and relaxes*
IPeX: Isss, IP, IPeX, eX?
Kamui.EXE: Yes. This DOES look bad for us. But at least Macro and Excel escaped and they're safe now. Better gets some rest. *Goes in to sleep mode. IPeX curls up on her header*
*Mega.EXE enters from a room off to the side*
Mega.EXE: Hello? I thought I heard someone! *Walks around he's standing with his back turned to Kamui.EXE. Apparently, he has no idea she's even there* Hello? User! I hate that! I bet it's Trian.exe up to his old tricks! *Sits on Kamui.EXE* Huh? Soft?
Kamui.EXE: *Wakes up* GWAH! *She's startled and jump*
Mega.EXE: *He's also startled and jump* GWAHHH!
*They both look at eachother*
Both: GWAHHH! *The both hide behind some object in the room and they both have their disks out ready to hit anything that moves*
Kamui.EXE: WHO in the NET are YOU?!
Mega.EXE: I was going to point the same question to you!
Kamui.EXE: INTRUDER!
Mega.EXE: YOU'RE THE INTRUDER!
*They get up and argue face to face*
Kamui.EXE: WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA OF SITTING ON ME LIKE THAT?
Mega.EXE: I DIDN'T MEAN TO! I DIDN'T EVEN SEE YOU! IT'S NOT LIKE I HAVE GUESTS IN MY QUARTERS EVERYDAY!
Kamui.EXE: *Pauses* So YOU'RE the ROOM MATE!
Mega.EXE: Huh? Room mates? I guess Trian.exe wasn't tricking me again.
Kamui.EXE: He NEVER mentioned I was getting a GUY! They're usually very messy.
Mega.EXE: Most of us ICP hopfuls are male.... HEY! WAIT! Did you just call me MESSY?!
Kamui.EXE: You've got stuff all over the place!
Mega.EXE: So? You've got a little uh... thing on top your header! And you aren't disorganized yourself?!
Kamui.EXE: That little "thing" is my friend, IPeX!
Mega.EXE: *Sighs* Truce? *Puts disk away*
Kamui.EXE: *Rolls eyes* Truce. *Puts disk away*
Mega.EXE: *Holds hand out for a hand shake* The name's Mega.EXE.
Kamui.EXE: *Shakes hands* My name is Kamui.EXE. Pleasure.
Mega.EXE: So I guess Trian put us as room mates.
Kamui.EXE: I guess. So why are you here?
Mega.EXE: I really wanted to be an ICP so badly! They're just so COOL! How about yourself?
Kamui.EXE: I made a deal with the Kernal.
Mega.EXE: YOU made a DEAL with THE Kernal? WOW! You ACTUALLY spoke to HIM?
Kamui.EXE: *Mutters* "Speaking" wasn't the actual word I would use......
Mega.EXE: That's so COOL! Most of us trainees only ever DREAM of meeting him! WOW!
Kamui.EXE: I'm not sure why---- *Gets cut off*
Mega.EXE: What was he like?
Kamui.EXE: Well..... He's really tall, strong, er...... *Thinks hard of something positive* Uh..... red?

Post by Kamui.EXE on Jul 4, 2004 8:10:43 GMT -5
Part two:
Mega.EXE: WOW! You must have been floored by his GREATNESS!
Kamui.EXE: Er..... something like that.....
Mega.EXE: That's pretty cool, Kamui.EXE! Did he ask you about your build date and stuff like they say he does?
Kamui.EXE: Uh.... no.
Mega.EXE: Hm... you must have made quite an impact! So what is your build date?
Kamui.EXE: I dunno. *Sits down*
Mega.EXE: *Sits down beside Kamui.EXE* You can't remember?
Kamui.EXE: I can't really remember a THING about my past. I only remember three things.
Mega.EXE: Which are?
Kamui.EXE: My name, that I'm supposed to be good at fighting, and for some strange reason the name "Tron" comes to mind.
Mega.EXE: Hm! I'm a little too young to know what a "Tron" is. You know, the Kernal may ask you what your build date and function is. You have to come up with something!
Kamui.EXE: How about making my build date late 2001?
Mega.EXE: What about your functions?
Kamui.EXE: Hmm..... I'd have to think on that.
Mega.EXE: Maybe you were a pixel pusher who lost her memories.
Kamui.EXE: I dunno.....
Mega.EXE: We've got a lot of time before training. We can at least see what you are!
Narrator: And so we tied to figure out what type of program I was. Each guess was fraut with failure.
Mega.EXE *Poses behind an easil* Okay! Give it you're BEST shot.
Kamui.EXE: *Attempts to draw Mega.EXE* Hmm..... you know... maybe this IS my thing *A while later Kamui.EXE finishes* Finished!
Mega.EXE: Ow..... stiff.... *Walks over. He DOES seem a little stiff for holding that pose for a while* GWAH! *Sees Kamui.EXE's picture*
Kamui.EXE: You like it? *It's a picture of a stick figure*
Mega.EXE: Do I honestly look THAT bad?! I guess pixels aren't your thing.
/// A few tries later....
Mega.EXE: Let's see... You AREn'T a pixel pusher, you AREN'T a note pad, you AREN'T a DJ..... just what in the NET are you?
Kamui.EXE: Let's go with anti-virus or something.
Mega.EXE: *Sighs* I guess that'll have to do.
*They get "Pinged." Mega.EXE walks over to the I/O node. Trian.exe appears on screen.*
Trian.exe: Is Kamui.EXE there?
Mega.EXE: Uh.....
Trian.exe: Oh! Nevermind! Her first training sessions starts in a few nanos. She had better be out here on the grid or I'm going to have her header on a plater! *The I/O node shuts off*
Mega.EXE: Oh! I hate him!
Kamui.EXE: The feeling's mutual. *To IPeX who has been napping on her header for a while now.* IPeX, wake up and pass me my Data class subroutines along with my disk subroutines. *IPeX wakes up and gives Kamui.EXE the subroutines* Thanks, IPeX.
Mega.EXE: Wow! You gotta tell me where you get one of those. I wanna IPeX too.
Kamui.EXE I dunno. *To IPeX* IPeX, stay behind and watch the place. I don't really trust Trian and the others very well.
IPeX: *Nods and flies off*
Kamui.EXE: Are you coming, Mega?
Mega.EXE: Nah. My training session isn't for a little while. In the meantime, I guess I'll CLEAN UP.
Kamui.EXE: Gah! Me-gaaaa!
Mega.EXE: *Grins* You SAID I was messy.
*Kamui.EXE leaves*
////Later out on the grid.....
*Kamui.EXE dashes out*
Kamui.EXE: Hey! *Looks around* There's no one here. *Gets shocked from behind* OW! *Whips around* HEY! *Sees Trian*
Trian.exe: You were slightly late. That makes another time I get to shock you.
Kamui.EXE: *Growls* sorry....
Trian.exe: You want me to shock you again for growling?
Kamui.EXE: No, sir.
Trian.exe: Good. Here, we have some training dummies. *A group of five training dummies rezz up* They move and fight back. Of course I don't expect you to get all of them the first time. I HOPE you're ready.
Kamui.EXE: *Strikes Cat-stance and rezzes up her Data_Katana* Ready.
*The dummies start up and begin to attack Kamui.EXE.*
Kamui.EXE: This is too easy!
*Kamui fights back. She's exremely skilled. The five dummies are defeated easily. Another wave of dummies come. Kamui rezzes away her Data_Katana in favour of the disk. She strikes a defensive position and does a disk kata. The second wave is defeated. A third wave comes. Kamui puts her disk away and goes in favour of martial arts. The third wave is defeated easily*
Kamui.EXE: This is far too easy! Is there anything a little harder?
Trian.exe: *Grins* sure if you think you can take it.
*Mega.EXE comes behind Trian.exe to watch. Kernalsupport.api is watching from a balcony*
Kamui.EXE: Fine.
Trian.exe: A "little" harder it is.
*A wave of ten new training training dummies appear. They are way more strategic. They aren't a little more harder, they're WAY more harder. Kamui.EXE throws an uppercut for one of the dummies. It phases through*
Kamui.EXE: Huh? That should of---- YEOW! *Dodges an on coming attack. Rezzes up her Data_katana* This should work! *Slashes away at a group of three training dummies. The katana phases through* What?!
Mega.EXE: *Gasp* Trian.exe! What are you doing?! These aren't ordinary training dummies! They're set to the Kernal's level! They'll DEREZZ HER!
Trian.exe: So? She SHOULD be able to handle it!
Mega.EXE: *Yells to Kamui* KAMUI! LOOK OUT! THESE ARE THE KERNAL'S TRAINING DUMMIES! THEY'LL DEREZZ YOU!
Kamui.EXE: What?! *Thinks* If these are the Kernal's, they're set to his level *Dodges a few attacks. One makes contact knocking her back, It hurts. Outloud* GAH! *Thinks* What's the Kernal's subroutine of choice? *Dodges again. There's a flash back to the scene where Kamui.EXE first encounters the Kernal* WAIT! *Outloud* I'VE GOT IT! *Gets her disk and begins attacking. Her disk attacks hit* YES! I KNEW IT! *Switches for cluser disk and attacks with that. She preforms Katas and groups of dummies are being derezzed*
Mega.EXE: Wow.... *To Kamui.EXE* GO KAMUI! YOU CAN DO IT!
Kamui.EXE: *Derezzes the last of the dummies. She's covered in the digitized equivalant of sweat* That was a little hard. But not too hard.
Trian.exe: *Is shocked* That.... that....
*Kamui.EXE races over to Trian.exe and pounds him*
Kamui.EXE: WHAT WERE YOU PROCESSING?!
Trian.exe: Ow! Stop! That hurts! *Kamui.EXE puts Trian.exe in to a joint lock with his right arm* GAH! OW!
Kamui.EXE: HOW DARE YOU!
*Kernalsupport.api comes up behind Kamui and Trian*
Mega.EXE: *Gasp* K-k-KAMUI!
Kamui.EXE: *Stops* What now?
Trian.exe: *Holds his arms* Ow....
*Kernalsupport.api puts Kamui.EXE in to the same joint lock*
Kamui.EXE: GAHHHHH! *Grits teeth*
Kernalsupport.api: This is the same move you did to Trian. How does it feel?
Kamui.EXE: G-gah!
Kernalsupport.api: It hurts doens't it? *Lets go*
Kamui.EXE: *Holds arm and spins around to face Kernalsupport.api* H.....wha......
Kernalsupport.api: *To Trian* You will NOT report this to the Kernal, correct?
Trian.exe: ......
Kernalsupport.api: Should I let her go back to attacking you?
Trian.exe: No, sir.
Kernalsupport.api: The you won't report it?
Trian.exe: No, sir.
Kernalsupport.api: You may leave.
*Trian leaves*
Kamui.EXE: I'm sorry, sir.
Kernalsupport.api: You're VERY lucky I wasn't the Kernal. You must understand that you can't solve things by being violent toward Trian.
Kamui.EXE: But you were violent towards Macro and Excel.
Kernalsupport.api: I don't always agree with the Kernal's orders either but you HAVE to do them or risk being derezzed.
Kamui.EXE: ......
Kernalsupport.api: You won't hurt Trian again no matter what he says or does?
Kamui.EXE: No, sir.
Kernalsupport.api: You're a good program. *Turns to leave* I knew you could take out those dummies. You've got talent. *Leaves*
*Kamui.EXE watches him leave*
Kamui.EXE: *Smiles* ....... *She then turns to Mega.EXE who's in awe* Mega?
Mega.EXE: Do.... Do you know who that was just now?
Kamui.EXE: Huh?
Mega.EXE: THAT was Kernalsupport.api! WOW! He's so cool!
Narrator: Just then I discovered there was more to programs that meet the eye. I was on my way. As to weither or not I would figure out my past here, I would have no answer now. Perhaps my future may hold my keys to my past.

Interesting so far, Kamui. although you might want to move this and make it a full-fledged fanfic... (like I was planning)
my one complaint is how awed everyone is... any real reason? (just curious)

Interesting so far, Kamui. although you might want to move this and make it a full-fledged fanfic... (like I was planning) my one complaint is how awed everyone is... any real reason? (just curious) It's not really a fanfic, it's her background story. It just so happens to be kinda long. Of course, if it were really a fanfic by me, it would be in first person and WAY longer. ^^ I wouldn't have it up as fast. As for why everyone seems in awe (or at least almost everyone) has to do with what Kamui.EXE is and means. But if I were to tell you what that was now, that would spoil everything. ^_~ Anyways, I'll be posting the third installment later. ~kamui.EXE

////The Forgotten Legend of Kamui.EXE: Third Installment////
Narrator: It wasn't long in my training that I was allowed to take on small missions. My mentor, Kernalsupport.api was very encouraging. One of my most recent missions was tracking down some Zlots.
*Kamui.EXE Runs with her new LOL in tow. IPeX follows her along with Mega.EXE and Kernalsupport.api. Kamui.EXE is chasing down some Zlots who have been trying to corrupt the sector*
Mega.EXE: Gridbugs! I HATE Zlots!
Kamui.EXE: GIF! They're getting away! *Activates new subroutine* OVERCLOCK.EXE ALPHA ACTIVATE! *Speeds up and she switches subroutines in favour of her signature Data_Katana. She slashes the Zlots in half*
Zlot: GWAH! *They derezz*
*Mega.EXE and Kernalsupport.api catch up. Kamui.EXE turns around signing a V for victory. She grins*
Mega.EXE: You got 'em!
Kamui.EXE: *Over confidentally* As usual.
Kernalsupport.api: We can head back and report to the Kernal. He'll be pleased.
////Later at the Kernal's ICP Outpost inside Kamui's and Mega's quarters......
*Kamui and Mega are celebrating their latest mission*
Kamui.EXE: I can hardly believe it!
IPeX: *Flies around happily* IP!
Mega.EXE: They're letting us go on missions.
Kamui.EXE: And we're successsful!
Mega.EXE: You skills are really something!
Kamui.EXE: Well... *Pours some energy drinks* You're pretty good too.
Mega.EXE: I wonder who would win if they put us together when we spar?
Kamui.EXE: Yours truely of course!
Mega.EXE: Nah! You know for a fact that I'M better! *Takes drink*
Kamui.EXE: Oh! Really now! Well! Who took out those Zlots today?
*They both laugh. Kamui.EXE finishes off her drink. She about to pour herself another one when she discovers the bottle empty*
Kamui.EXE: Uh-oh. I"ll *Gets up*
Mega.EXE: *Stops Kamui.EXE* That's okay. I'll go get it. *Gets up*
Kamui.EXE: Are you sure? You got lost last time you had to go to the Outpost's store!
Mega.EXE: *Laughs* Oh Come on!
Kamui.EXE: Alright. But if the Kernal finds you again and gives you a yelling, don't come crying to me. *Grins*
*Mega.EXE leaves*
//// In one of the halls.....
*Mega.EXE is about to walk down this hall when he hears the Kernal and Trian talking. Mega.EXE stops and hides behind some packets and old archive bins*
Trian.exe: She completely destroyed your training dummies, sir. All ten of them.
Kernal: I know that.
Trian.exe: How can you let her train here? You know very well as much as I that she'll surpass you with ease. She's The Forgotten Legend Kamui.EXE. You know she's a threat! You know it!
Kernal: I understand that. That's why I'm not letting her know. If she fully understood her past, it will be the end of us. But as for her training here, it lessens the odds of her finding others who know this obscure legend.
Trian.exe: Control what she hears?
Kernal: Yes. That's why she'll stay at the same rank.
Trian.exe: I still don't like having her here. Could we not cast her out to another foreign server without hope of return?
Kernal: That's not an option.
*They pass by Mega.EXE without seeing or acknowleging him. They leave.*
Mega.EXE: *Comes out of hiding* Kamui.EXE must know. *Runs back to the quarters taking a different route*
//// Back in the quarters.....
*Kamui.EXE is relaxing. Mega.EXE bursts in*
Mega.EXE: Kamui!
Kamui.EXE: What is it? Did you get the energy?
Mega.EXE: *Shakes his header* That's NOT important! What's important is that the Kernal and Trian.exe is with holding information from you!
Kamui.EXE: What?!
*IPeX stops flying around to listen*
Mega.EXE: What's worse is that they're planning to keep you at the same rank to keep you from hearing that!
Kamui.EXE: *In shock* N... no...... Is there more?
Mega.EXE: *Nods* They mentioned you as being The Forgotten Legend Kamui.EXE. A very obscure legend at that!
Kamui.EXE: *Gets up* I.... I have to leave. *Runs out the door. Leaves*
////In another hall.....
*Trian is walking down the hall alone. Kamui.EXE keeps to the shadows as she sneaks up on Trian. Just when she gets close, she rezzes up her Data_Katana. The sound is enough to get Trian to stop dead in his tracks. He spins around in hopes of seeing who it was but he sees nothing. Just as he's about to turn back around Kamui.EXE grabs him and brings the blade to his neck.*
Kamui.EXE: One false move and I'm sending your header rolling!
Trian.exe: Kamui! What a pleasent supprise! *Sweats*
Kamui.EXE: Yeah and I'm shareware. You've been lying to me!
Trian.exe: *Laughs evily* The feelings mutual.
Kamui,EXE: .....?!
Trian.exe: Did you expect the Kernal and I to believe that your build date was 2001?
Narrator: I went cold. This only further proved Mega's story.
Kamui.EXE: What are you not telling me about my connections to The Forgotten Legend?
Trian.exe: I'll tell you what you need to know if you complete one mission for me...... ALONE.
Kamui.EXE: What is it?
Narrator: He gives me a brief description. He didn't tell me who I was after but he told me where to go and...
Trian.exe: .... they've been dodging their syn-taxes. I need you to derezz them. I'm sure you like this mission.
Kamui.EXE: You will not give any of these details of our meeting away to the Kernal or anyone else for that matter. Understood?
Trian.exe: Y-yes, mam.
*Kamui.EXE lets him go. Trian runs away*
Narrator: Little did I know what he had actually planned for me......
*Kamui.EXE raid a small house she blows out a few chuncks of it with her Cluster Disk subroutine*
Kamui.EXE: I know you're in there! COME ON OUT! *Throws another cluster disk taking down another chunk of the building. The roof caves in. Kamui.EXE leaps in to the rubble as soon as she hears voices, she pushes back the rubble to see a male and female program*
Narrator: What I saw next made the energy ciculating my shell run cold.....
Macro.EXE: Please! Don't hurt us!
Excel.EXE: We've been meaning to pay!
Macro.EXE: Just give us a few more months! Business is slow, that's all!
Kamui.EXE: *Stops* Macro! Excel! *quickly thinks. She transfers her energy to them* This should be enough to get you two out of the system. Run! They know you're here.
Excel.EXE: Kamui.....
Kamui.EXE: JUST DO IT!
Narrator: And so they ran. They ran as far as the energy I gave them would take them. I had to pay another visit to Trian. This time, IPeX would be with me to face him.
//// Inside the main observation tower....
*Trian is checking the system when Kamui.EXE dashes in with Riot shield and Data_Katana in hand. She fights Trian*
Kamui.EXE: TRIAN! YOU WORTHLESS PUDDLE OF GRIDBUG SPIT! *Slashes away at Trian. Trian tries to block and defend with his disk* FOR THIS, I'LL DEREZZ YOU! THAT MISSION WAS THE GREATEST INSULT!
Trian.exe: *Tries blocking Kamui's attacks. Kamui.EXE kicks him sending skidding accross the floor. Kamui.EXE angles her blade at Trian* Now! Can't we be reasonable about this? Apparently I underestimated a great program such as yourself--- *Gets cut off*
Kamui.EXE: SHUT UP! *Rezzes away the Data_Katana and drops the shield. Trian gets back up.* OVERCLOCK.EXE ACTIVATE! *Speeds up behind Trian and puts him in the arm lock threatening to snap his arm* Give me one good reason why I shouldn't hurt you!
Trian.exe: Ow! You- You wouldn't!
Kamui.EXE: *Starts bending the arm in the opposide direction* I wouldn't what?!
Trian.exe: Ow! That doesn't bend that way!
Kamui.EXE: Wrong answer! *Snaps the arm back*
Trian.exe: GRAHHHHHHH! *Kamui.EXE lets go and she rezzes up her Data_katana*
Kamui.EXE: YOU VILE---- *Gets cut off. Someone picks her up and tosses her near the door*
Kernal: GET OUT!
Kamui.EXE: *Get back up for the next attack. But ther Kernal flinges her back* GAH!
Kernal: GET OUT!
Kamui.EXE: *Gets up again. The Kernal throws a disk at her. Kamui.EXE dodges* ....!?
Kernal: I SAID....
Kamui.EXE: *Gets hit with the disk which knocks her out the door* GAHHHH!
Kernal: ..... GET OUT!
Kamui.EXE: *Gets up and leaves* ......
Kernal: *activates an I/O node and calls Kernalsupport.api* This is the Kernal. Kamui.EXE has been removed from our ranks. Promote Mega.EXE.
////On the other end of the I/O node connection....
Kernalsupport.api: Yes, sir. *Shuts off the I/O node* Kamui..... you didn't.....
////Outside the outpost....
*Kamui.EXE is walking away from the outpost. The sky above her is a dark blue. It flashes like lightening and energy starts to rain down. Kamui.EXE pauses with IPeX to look back one last time*
Kamui.EXE: Good bye, everyone.....
*Walks away*
Narrator: And that would be the last time I would see the Kernal's outpost as part of the ICPs. I got on the next Transport to the Japanese server. I had to leave the system. After that day, I thought I would not be the same program again. I was wrong about that.....
