Tweaker entered another command into his datasheet, and the three programs felt a slight light-headed sensation as they were copied to another compact disc. Tweaker stowed the datasheet and waved. "Leaving so soon? All right, see you guys later. Been fun working with you! Feel free to drop by the server any time. No password cracker neccessary!" he added with a wink.

"Hey! I'll try and remeber that!" Kamui.EXE says grinning.
IPeX sat on top of her header. Then the world went black.
Later after re-compilation......
Kamui.EXE slowly woke up on a diagnostic bed.
What happened.....?
Kamui.EXe thought it over. A bunch of memories came to her. She saw a few programs sitting at her bedside.
"Oh..... hello....." Kamui.EXE says slowly.

Tweaker raised his arms and allowed the Rollback Wave to sweep over him, secure in the knowledge that there would be a Restoration. The code wall swept through him, deleting as it passed, and Tweaker blipped out of existence.
A few seconds later, the Rollback completed, and an autoexec file reinitialized the system and restarted the Kernel. Tweaker rezzed into the Control Panel, ran a quick self-diagnostic, then re-integrated his own memories. After finishing the System Startup checklist, he ran the two programs on the second backup CD-ROM and transferred them and himself to Sickbay.
Tweaker rezzed in just as Kamui was waking up. "Welcome back, program," he said, smiling as he caressed her face with one hand. He took a bar of energy from a table next to her bed and pressed it into Kamui's arm, and targeted antivirus procedures worked their way through Kamui's code eleminating the Korruptika virus. "We got her. Saved the system. Congratulations."

I woke up, rubbing the back of my header which hurt like heck, and wondered where I was. Last I remember, I was heading for a system... is this it? I... then my program started finishing loading and I regained my memories. I looked around and saw Kamui a few beds over. I saw Tweaker rezz in just as Kamui woke up. I did my best to sit up, and then got up and walked over to where Tweaker and Kamui were. "Everyone ok?" I asked. "No held-over viruses, worms or other things just to give us more ? Good." I twisted at my waist and ed my back. "Hey, Tweak? any reason I would be feeling so stiff?"

IpeX hovvered beside Kamui.EXE.
"Thank you...." kamui.EXE says weakly.
She was greatful that everyone's copies survived including IPeX. Speaking of which....
"IPeX, who put out that bounty?" Kamui.EXE asks.
<Hm.... I believe it said in fine print that AOL put it out.> says IPeX
"WHAT?! OH USER THAT MEANS I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM?!" Kamui.EXE says.
The AOL programs were annoying to her.

Tweaker frowned. "No idea. Sorry, I'm not terribly familiar with DataWraith physiology. Medic!" A medical program scurried over and ran a medical tricorder over Harpo. In a high voice, it announced "Post-compilation stiffness caused by non-standared subroutines. It will fade with time and exercise."

"I simpathize, Kamui. I dealing with AOL programs." Then the medical program came over and gave his prognosis. "Non-standard? oh..." I furrowed my brow, then remembered something and spoke to Tweaker. "Hey, uh... I never bothered to explain why I got here. but, um... you probably need this more then me." I handed Tweaker the data packet I had stolen from the secure archive center. "You really ought to update those security detectors, though. even a novice could get through that finder web." I said, almost jokingly.

Tweaker raised an eyebrow. "I'll be sure to do that," he said, not commenting on the fact that Harpo had just sliced Daisy's top-of-the-line firewalll without even setting off an alarm. "Let me get to a viewer so I can open this packet."
Tweaker walked out of Sickbays' curved main room and into the adjacent office. He placed the datapacket into the I/O Node-like viewer and a hologram sprang to life. "What's this?"

Kamui.EXE was just going to grin and bear the AOL programs no matter how annoying they were. The she heard Tweaker speak about the packet.
"Hey! What's wrong?" Kamui.EXE asks.

I decided I was curious to see what Tweaker made of it, so I walked into the adjacent room and spoke to Tweaker. "So... any thoughts?"

Tweaker stared at the contents of the packet, his mouth dry. "This... where did you get this?... Daisy...they're...what am I doing here..."
Tweaker shut off the viewer and ripped the packet from its slot. Low-level scum! And they suckered me into working for them!

Kamui.EXE props herself up. She could feel something more was wrong.
"Tweaker? What is it? Is it really THAT bad?" Kamui.EXE asks.

Tweaker turned, a scowl on his face. "Do you know what this server is? What they do here? Just an innocuous server for uploading Word documents and useful apps, right?"
Tweaker turned back to the wall, his face angled upwards slightly. "This is a Warez server. Used for denial-of-service attacks."
Silence permeated the room for a moment. Then Tweaker spoke again. "I can't work here. This... violates my programming. I'm getting my gear. See you at the exit port."

"Well... I guess I did something right for once. If you're ok Kamui, I'll be heading out." I walked over to the data stream and activated it for the nearest rezzing port. "Hmm... maybe I can get that packet back from Tweaker... it'll pull a nice price with some federal programs. see you at the rezzing port, Kamui!" I stepped into the stream.

Kamui.EXe looks at Harpo.
"Then we should try and stop it? This could mean bad news for other servers!" kamui.EXe says.
She tries to get off the diagnostic bed only to fall to the floor and discover her legs were frozen.
"Gridbugs! Now's not the time for this!" Kamui.EXE growls.
